Lori penyembuq

ooo tengah dok jenjalan kat tenet...aku jumpa information pasal gritting lorries...gritting lorries ni kalu hangpa nak tau...lori yang dok tabuq garam kat atas jalanraya...garam????...yer garam kalu hangpa tak caya...tapi bukanla garam yang macam hangpa tengok kat dapuq tue...garam dia ala2 garam kasar...pastu kalu tak silap depa campur ngan tanah atau pasir...tapi bukan la tetiap hari depa dok pi sembuq garam kat jalan...selalunya depa dok pi sembuq garam tue masa winter...masa suhu yang sangat sejuk...al-qaeda nya sebab untuk mengelakkan jalan tue membeku dengan ais...tapikan la nie depa guna lori tue bukan masa winter jer...depa guna masa summer gak pasal takut jalan tue melebur (betul ker penggunaan perkataan melebur di sini? by the way, melebur...bukan pi melabur kat toilet) dan sekaligus merosakkan tayar kete2 yang lalu-lalang atas jalan tu...tapi masa summer depa tak sembur garam...depa sembuq habuk batu hancur (hiks betul ker terjemahan aku nie-crushed rosk dust)...ish susah-susah sangat aku nak translate...hangpa baca sendiri la kat bawah nie...

Winter gritting lorries placed on summer stand

-by By LGA Media Office-

As the Met Office forecasts a heatwave council gritters are on stand-by to stop roads melting in the sweltering conditions. Predicted temperatures are so high that bitumen surfaces may become viscous and stick to vehicles, which could cause damage to both the roads and cars if they are not treated.

Road gritters, more usually associated with spreading salt on roads to keep them ice free, are being dispatched to stop the melting and protect road surfaces.

Crushed rock dust will be spread on recently laid roads to stop the heat destroying the tarmac. For instance;

• Durham County Council gritters are ready to ‘dust’ roads should it become necessary.

• Staffordshire County Council has already sent its gritters out this week and is ready to suspend all road surface dressing work if the temperatures keep rising.

• Cumbria County Council has a fleet of gritters ready to spread crushed rock dust to help protect road surfaces.

Cllr David Sparks, Chairman of the Local Government Association Environment Board, said: “Gritters on the road might seem a strange sight at this time of year when we are accustomed to seeing them during cold spells combating freezing roads.

“Strong sunshine can melt the tar used in any recent road surface dressing work so having gritters spread crushed rock dust is the best way to help protect road surfaces.

“The dust also helps protect vehicles from damage by putting a fine non-stick layer between the road and tyre.”

ha tu dia hangpa baca, jalan tue dah jadi macam kuali plak bila masa summer...kena letak non-stick layer...kalu tak melekat tayar tu kat jalan...ermm baru aku tau betapa susah jugak kan hidup kat negara 4 musim nie...macam-macam benda nak kena jaga...kalu kat Mesia tue walaupun panas sepanjang tahun...takder plak depa dok pi sembuq benda2 nie...tetap maintain macam tue jugak...mungkin jalan2 kat negara kita tue guna benda lain untuk buat jalan tak macam jalan kat sini kot...sebab tue jalan2 kat negara kita tahan panas...aiii kalu aku tak datang belaja kat sini...aku taktaula kewujudan gritting lorries nie.
