Do you know Adiputra? If you don't know, goggled his name and whoosh you'll get what you want...
This week, or is it last week? Bulletin Utama TV3 have aired special news about him...to raise Malaysian especially politicians awareness about a weakness in our eduaction system when dealing with a special kids such like Adiputra....
Alagkah ruginya jika bakat yang ada pada Adiputra disia-siakan begitu sahaja tanpa mendapat bimbingan dan tunjuk ajar yang sepatutnya dia terima...jika ada yang menonton cerita Malcolm In The Middle, Malcolm himself are categorised as a genius where he has such a high IQ....and in the show, dia diletakkan dalam kelas khas bersama-sama pelajar2 lain yang mana mereka diajar mengikut tahap pemikiran mereka...(honestly, i won't and don't want to be in that class although i'm a genius since it was...how to say...weird, dorky and geeks)...but tak tahula samada kelas tue benar2 wujud di Amereka atau tidak since the show was a fiction...tapi kalau kelas sebegitu benar2 wujud, bukankah bagus?
Then after a few days since Buletin Utama aired the news, Unisel make a statement to accept him as a university student...oh my god? are they insane? He's just a 12 year old boy!....bukanlah aku cemburu tetapi sudahkah mereka (his parent and Unisel) berfikir baik2 apa akan terjadi kepada masa depan budak tue sekiranya dia terima tawaran itu...
yeah yeah i know he is a genius, he can cope with studies in university, he can learn more about mathematics, he may produce a new theory or equation, he can be a researcher whatsoever and bla bla bla...but then, can't he, his parents or Unisel think about what he'll miss in his life?
Bilamana bebudak lain yang seusia dengannya sibuk bermain, sibuk belajar untuk UPSR, going to tuition, mendengar leteran ibubapa, dia pulak sibuk bukak buku calculus or algebra yang mungkin dia sendiri tak larat nak angkat...bukanlah aku nak cakap bila dia baca buku tue, tak elok tapi maksud aku, dia akan kehilangan social skills....and the life experience like others...
Because for me, the best years in my life so far, adalah bila aku bersekolah....dari tadika, ke sekolah rendah, ke sekolah menengah....dan semasa bersekolah tue la aku gain knowledge, confidence, social skills, dan macam2 lagi yang aku rasa semua orang pon sama...yeah i know there is a time when we keep thinking when we'll finish school, having stress with homework, books, teachers, and exam, but then it's just a part of 'asam garam' persekolahan...and now i'm reallt miss all of that...
So, don't you guys agree with me that Adiputra will regrets if he miss all that kind of stuffs...but then, i still agree that we should improve our education system...for me, Adiputra should take all public exam...UPSR, PMR n SPM to prove samada dia excel dalam semua subject atau hanya dalam matematik dan sains...sebab kalau setakat maths and science aje dapat A, Sejarah fail, BM fail, BI fail takdela genius namanya...but there should be a flexibility like he don't need to wait till 15 for PMR or 17 years old for SPM...and only after that he should go to University no matter how old he is...
Oh and i really agree with Kasvini - Klik sini kalau nak baca tulisannya

ya ya, ade came across this thing kat buletin utama. and i think mmg ya, it is absurd. he shud merasa zaman persekolahan yg indah :)
